Unique Ideas for Sign Placement

box top
A sign is one of the first things a customer will notice when he or she walks into your store – it the sign is properly displayed for maximum effect. Some sign placement is obvious; you want a large sign over your door announcing your business. Where else should you display signs to grab the attention of customers or clients and make them aware of special offers, new products and services, or other crucial information you don't want them to miss?

Many businesses miss the opportunity offered by unique sign placement opportunities because they don’t make use of the many styles of plastic sign holders. These holders make displaying and updating signage fast and easy.

The front door of your business is a perfect spot to use plastic sign holders. You can display poster style signs with a “thanks for stopping by” message or one that invites your customers to “come back soon.” You can even have interchangeable signs announcing upcoming events and switch them out when the time comes.

Another prime area often neglected is the reception area. A comfortable grouping of chairs facing an expanse of wall is the perfect place to cluster a few plastic sign holders to display poster signs. For even more impact, include one or two with attached brochure pockets so your clients can browse through some of your company literature while they wait.

Getting the Word Out Without Saying a Word

Your receptionist is one of the busiest people in your company and fields dozens of questions from customers every day. Some attractive signage at the corner of her desk with the answers to frequently asked questions (What are your business hours? What is your return policy?) will give your customers the answers they’re seeking without having to wait until the receptionist is free.

Do you own a restaurant or other business with lots of traffic through your restrooms? Don’t neglect the opportunity to put effective messages up near the sinks, above hand dryers, or on the back of stall doors. Plastic sign holders are safe, sanitary, and easy-to-clean. You can alert customers to next week’s happy hour specials, which band is performing on the weekend, or the availability of gift certificates.

Using plastic sign holders is an inexpensive way to display and protect your printed signs and makes it easy to change them frequently for maximum impact.
