Credit Terms

Our terms are Net Cash upon Delivery of Merchandise to the Freight Carrier. As a convenience to our customers, we will accept major credit cards or payment by Cash in Advance. If a company or personal check is issued, your check must clear your bank before we will ship of your order. This usually takes about 10 business days. We will accept a certified check or money order. We do not accept international wire transfers. We do not accept C.O.D. orders. We offer open accounts for large corporate buyers and Government Agency's using proper purchasing methods and issue a purchase order. Open accounts are available to other customers after review and approval of credit references, bank references and, in some cases, your balance sheet. Minimum order for the first open account sale is $500.00. The length of time to approve your open account is dependent upon how fast your credit references and bank respond to us. Credit limits will be set and strictly adhered to for all orders. Open Account terms are Net 30 days. Failure to pay within 30 days can lead to withdrawal of open account status. Any unpaid account after 30 days is subject to a 1.5% per month finance charge. Cancellation of credit card orders after your card has been processed will result in a $25.00 processing fee charged against your credit card account, and in some cases, charges to us by the credit card company.

Returned Check Charges

Whenever a customer's check is returned to us by the bank for any reason, the customer will be charged a $25 returned check fee.

Minimum Order

Stock orders - $50.00. Custom Sign Holder orders (Non Stock Sizes) - $250.00. Minimum order for all other custom orders is $500.00.

Acknowledgments

All orders will be acknowledged within 24 hours (weekends not included) after acceptance by Plastic Products Mfg. If you do not hear from us within that time period, contact us to find the status of your acknowledgement. It is the customer's responsibility to review the acknowledgments and verify them for accuracy within 24 hours of receipt of the acknowledgment. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you accept the order as we acknowledged it and the acknowledgement will be the basis for any discrepancies.

Change Orders

If you wish to change your order, it must be done in writing. We prefer all changes be faxed to us. You may telephone or e-mail changes but only a faxed change order will be a basis for complaint.

Pricing

All prices on our website are subject to change without notice.

Shipments

All orders will be shipped via FedEx, UPS or common carrier unless otherwise specified. All shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be billed on the invoice. Shipping/handling charges and special packaging charges are not included in the catalog prices.

Shipping Damages

Any packages received from a carrier in a damaged condition must be rejected and/or noted at the time of receipt. Plastic Products Mfg.’s responsibility ends upon delivery of merchandise to the freight carrier. In all cases, the customer assumes all risk of lost or damage to products in transit, and likewise assumes responsibility for filing a claim with the carrier. Open all boxes immediately upon receipt. If there is damage found upon opening a package, notify the carrier immediately. Any damage must be reported within 5 days of receipt. (Delays in reporting damage will prevent carrier from accepting responsibility for damage, and customer will then be held responsible for the merchandise). We will assist in anyway we can to help you with your claim with the carrier.

Rush Orders

Rush orders are available by calling our Customer Service Department for pricing. This may involve an extra charge for breaking down an existing production run and additional shipping and/or handling costs.

Special Handling

We will accommodate any special handling instructions or care if you need. However, we reserve the right to charge as appropriate for special handling instructions.

Special Packaging

You may have special packaging requirements. I.E. One part per box for reshipment. Please contact us for quote.

Non-Standard Sizes

Sign Holder sizes other than listed on our web site are available. Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-803-8322 for a quotation. Minimum quantities will apply.

Custom Work

We endeavor to have available a wide variety of items. However, you may have a need for an item that we do not carry. Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-803-8322 for a quotation. We require drawings or a sample of your custom part.

At Plastic Products Mfg discretion, we will send you a pre-production sample for your approval prior to production. With this sample, we will also send a “First Article of Approval” form for you to sign and send back to us stating that you approve the pre-production sample. We will begin production upon our receipt of this form. Our quoted delivery time commences at this time if the 50% deposit has been received. If you do not return the “First Article of Approval” form and/or you cancel your order, you will be billed $250.00.

A 50% deposit is required for all custom work.

If you require a sample part prior to placing an order, there will be a $250.00 charge. This will be credited to your account upon placing an order of $1,000.00 or more.

Imprinting

Imprinting is available upon request. Customer is to supply camera ready artwork. A 50% deposit for imprinting will be required before imprinting begins. If you require a sample part prior to a full production run, our standard setup, screen charges plus any other applicable charges will apply for the sample part. We will give a 50% credit to your account upon placement of an order.

Overruns/Under runs

On small runs, we reserve the right to ship up to 10% over or under the quantity ordered for custom orders and bill accordingly. Please notify us if there is a minimum quantity needed. In this case, there may be an overrun of up to 20%. However, in either case, we will keep the order as close to the quantity ordered as possible. For larger quantities, the plus or minus percentages will not be as extreme. Because of minimums we may have to purchase, breakages and other factors, we cannot guarantee an exact quantity for any custom part.

Production Time

In stock items or blank stock Items will ship within 2 business days after order is received. On occasion, standard items will be out of stock. We will notify you via an acknowledgement of an approximate shipping date. Shipping custom orders is dependent on production scheduling but normally 10 to 15 business days. Items requiring imprinting will usually ship within 15 to 20 business days after order is received.

Cancellations – Standard Items

You may cancel your order for standard items at any time prior to shipment. If your order has already been shipped, you may return it under the policy “Returns – Standard Items”.

Returns – Standard Items

Returns are allowed on standard items within the first 30 days after receipt by customer, only by pre-authorization from PPM's Return Material Authorization (R.M.A.). We will give you an R.M.A. number. Returned items must be shipped prepaid and insured by the customer. R.M.A. number must appear on all packages and paperwork.

Returned items must be in the original packaging and in the original condition in order to receive credit from PPM. A 25% re-stocking fee will be applied. Customer is obliged to pay original shipping charges out and all shipping charges back to PPM.

Once PPM has received the returned items in the original packaging and in the original condition, a credit will be issued for the items less original freight and the 25% re-stocking fee, which may take up to 15 working days.

Cancellations - Custom Items

Custom orders must be cancelled in writing prior to production by Plastic Products Manufacturing. “Custom” includes a part made to the customer’s specification, a standard part manufactured in excess of PPM’s normal inventory levels, any special boxing or packing or any special requests other than “off the shelf”. Custom orders cannot be cancelled after the order is approved and placed by the customer and PPM has commenced production. Production will NOT begin before customer approval. Commencing production includes the purchase of raw materials, special boxing and packing materials, non stock items purchased for your part and labor. If you do cancel your order against these terms, you will be billed a 25% cancellation charge plus labor and all special ordered items listed above.

Delays in shipment due to transportation issues, power outages, acts of God or any unforeseen circumstances are not a reason for cancellation.

Contact Customer Service at 800-803-8322 regarding custom orders that may be unacceptable due to defective material and/or nonconformance to industry standards.

Returns – Custom Items

We do not accept return of custom items.

Warranty

Our products are warranted against defects in material and manufacturing according to industry standards. Plastic Products Mfg, and its parent company, Corporate Sources, Inc., makes no other warranty of any kind, whatsoever, express or implied; and any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is hereby disclaimed by Plastic Products Manufacturing.
